( Here are some more pics )
P.S. - Marky, all this beauty is not complete without you. we'll go there together soon!!
2 highlights for this coming Sunday, both on HBO:
- The new season of Entourage begins [9 PM Central]. The boys are back!!
- The premier of “True Blood” a new show from Alan Ball, the man behind “6 Feet Under”. Based on the Southern Vampire Mystery Books by Charlaine Harris - vampires, who no longer must feed on people to survive, have “come out of the coffin” and are ready to fight for their civil rights.
It's gonna be good!
Here is ours (read here about the significance of Rob Thomas to our mutual history)
Summer is over! You can feel it in the air. Everywhere. Evite is empty – no scheduled pool party or anything else in site. It’s been a good summer, a very good one in deed. At the center (for us) was our wedding and everything around it. I don’t even know where to start with back-posting about it, but I will try in the days to come.
Now it’s time to go back to the basics. Eat a little more at home. Focus again on the gym [Must grow big!!] and enjoy life in smaller groups at a time.
It’s good to be back among you, my LJ friends. I kept my finger on your pulse throughout the summer by reading your posts daily, and am looking forward to resume mutual postingness [not a real word I know].
Here is a small preview of wedding pictures:
people share their play-lists. easy to think of a song, search and listen to it. Instant gratification goddess, why are you so good to me?
(p.s. fantastic summer so far ya'all!)
this is a YouTube video about/from the place I grew up in Israel. it's a little long [and feel free to skip the Hebrew spoken parts] but it does show quite well where I am from:
Me (to the hostess at “Kerbey Lane” restaurant Austin, TX): so, when will they open one “Kerbey Lane” in Dallas?
Hostess: hummm <pause> I don’t know <pause> it is Dallas after all…[cringing]
Me: we deserve yummy queso too!
Hostess [stops writing, looks up]: yeah <pause> I guess you do
The bestest attraction was the mannequins scattered across the building dressed in stewardess uniforms from all times since the airline first started flying. I bring them to you with the question - which one would you like to see brought back?

The other day the following arrived in the mail for me. it reads:
"Dear Ami,
It is my pleasure to inform you that you are being considered for inclusion into the 2008/2009 Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women "Honor Edition" of the Registry.
I feel so honored (what should I wear?).

11 days and it will all be over!
11 long days, and all will be back to normal.
No more taking deep breaths over short weekends, to make it through the airless days of midweek.
Just 11 days, and then my Marky is coming back from his nine months assignment as the flute professor in West Texas A&M - 6 hours away from our home.
As it was during the past 9 months, the weekdays were just a gap of nothingness in between the time we see each other and the next time we would. In just 11 days every day will matter again. I will get back not only Mark, but also my Mondays and Tuesdays through Fridays. I will come home from work, and he will be here. We will get to have a routine again. In the mornings he’ll be here with me.
A sizable part of our relationship will be taken down from the shelf, dusted off and used again. Like summer clothing at winter’s end. IT’S SPRING AGAIN AND MARK IS COMING HOME!
